Pada 23 Maret lalu, Samsung telah mengumumkan produk baru ponsel Androidnya yaitu Samsung I9000 Galaxy S yang dibekali fitur oke dan kecanggihan teknologi terbaru. Fitur oke pertamanya yaitu layar 4inch yang gedhe dengan teknologi Super AMOLED yang mampu menampilkan gambar yang benar-benar menawan dan bisa dilihat dengan jelas di bawah sinar matahari. Prosesornya pun tak kalah oke yaitu 1GHZ CPU dengan bodi yang super tipis dan menawan. Layarnya mampu menampilkan resolusi 800×480 px.
Sistem operasi yang digunakan adalah Android 2.1 yang sudah dimodifikasi oleh Samsung khususnya untuk user interface.
Ponsel oke ini memiliki kamera 5Mp dengan autofocus dan dapat merekam video 720p dan framerate 30fps. Ponsel ini juga mendukung Wi-Fi b, GPS with A-GPS serta konektivitas 3G (HSDPA support), USB dan Bluetooth 3.
